DouTech Solutions

FAQs

Common questions.

Straight answers about how we work, what's included, and what to expect.

General

What does DouTech actually do?

DouTech Solutions helps organisations plan, procure, build, secure and manage the technology they depend on — software, cloud, managed IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, procurement and business systems — under one accountable relationship instead of coordinating a separate vendor for every need.

Is DouTech a registered company?

Yes. DouTech Solutions Limited is registered in Nigeria, RC 9260792, based in Lagos.

Do I need to know exactly which technical service I need before contacting you?

No. Tell us the business problem you're trying to solve — we'll help map the right technology and delivery path from there.

Do you only work with large companies?

No. DouTech works across sizes — from businesses starting from scratch (via WebLite and entry-level Managed IT) through to larger, multi-site organisations.

Managed IT & Support

What counts as a critical issue?

A critical issue is one that stops your business operating — for example, your website, portal or app is completely down; customers or staff can't log in; payments are failing; email isn't sending or receiving organisation-wide; or a suspected security breach or loss of access.

What counts as a minor update?

Small changes to existing content — a phone number or address update, replacing an image, editing existing text, updating a button link, or adding a short announcement. New pages, new features, redesigns and custom development are quoted separately.

What are your support hours?

Support is provided during working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Emergency, weekend or after-hours support may attract an additional fee unless covered by a priority agreement.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring?

Not as a blanket service. Platform Support plans specifically include 24/7 acknowledgement of critical incidents — day-to-day support otherwise runs during business hours. Response times refer to acknowledgement and the start of review; full resolution time depends on the issue, access availability and third-party providers.

What's the difference between a project and a managed service?

Projects are fixed-fee or milestone-based engagements — building a website, migrating to the cloud, deploying a network. Managed services are ongoing monthly or annual support — helpdesk, endpoint management, platform support.

Procurement

Can DouTech source hardware or software even if you're not building the solution?

Yes. Technology procurement is vendor-neutral and can stand alone or attach to a wider project — a device rollout with MDM, security and managed support, for example.

Are you an authorised reseller of Microsoft, Dell, or other vendors?

Formal partner or reseller status is only represented once approval is secured for that specific vendor — see the Technology Ecosystem page for what's currently confirmed.

Websites

Do you only build corporate websites?

No. DouTech has delivered corporate, NGO, education/charity, healthcare and real estate websites, alongside WebLite — a subscription website product built for smaller businesses.

I need something simple and affordable to start — what's the entry point?

WebLite is built for exactly this: a modern website subscription with domain, hosting and SSL included, starting from ₦5,000/month plus a one-time setup fee. See the WebLite page for full pricing and FAQs.
